Just a couple of notes after the most recent attack -
If any of you do have issues in your past that are likely to cause a problem like that, please let us know. We don't typically like to pry into your private lives, but when it comes to the safety of the hotel, that takes precedence.
More importantly, if you are not on the security team, please do not go throwing yourselves into situations like that. I'm sure we don't have to explain why, but it becomes an extremely dangerous situation if people who aren't accounted for deciding to join in. If you do wish to help out in situations like that, please speak to Scott about joining the security team. |

My thanks to everyone who was involved in the missions against the Weapons Plus facilities. We were able to retrieve a lot of information, and we were successful in shutting down the facilities we did hit.

We have reached a certain point in our investigations into Weapons Plus where we believe that examining the facilities we have discovered in person will be more fruitful than our current line of inquiry. Which means we are looking for volunteers to make up these teams. The current plan is to get in, get whatever information we can, and make sure the place is non-operational when we leave.
Please comment here if you're interested in going along. We will also be looking for people to remain behind and protect the hotel while these teams are out.

Most of the people who have gone missing have returned. Sarah, Mort, Remy, Emma and Scott have all returned, and are okay. We're currently unaware of the status of Aurora, Jono, Victor and Logan, but the information we have been given implies that their absence is voluntary.
We're still gathering information about who took them, and while we believe the danger from the group has most likely passed, we strongly urge everyone to stay close to the hotel until we are able to confirm this. At this stage, what we do know is that they are a group who have been studying and experimenting on both humans and mutants, for what ends we're unaware so far.
Please note that the training room in the basement is off-limits until further notice.

Everyone is to return to the hotel immediately. Anyone at the hotel will not be leaving for the immediate future. This is not a joke, and it is not a drill. We will cover for everyone regarding work and school, and will be organizing meals for everyone.
For those of you who do not live here - we strongly suggest you stay here until the threat has passed. The teleporters will be available to get you here as safely as possible.
There has been another kidnapping. It is not Sublime this time, but another group. We do not know who as yet, but we know they have at least seven mutants working for them, including five telepaths. Once we have more information in regards to the group, we will let you know.

Some of you may remember a former resident of the hotel, Manuel de la Rocha. He was asked to leave the hotel earlier this year due to his manipulation and abuse of some of the residents here, and forbidden from returning.
We have a situation on our hands that has required us to rescind that decision. Manuel is currently suffering from a severe case of amnesia, and will be remaining within our care until he is fit to rejoin society.
We do not believe that he currently poses a threat to any of the residents, but we do ask that if you do notice any suspicious behavior from him that you report it to any of the members of management.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. |

I've had the draft of this post sitting here for about a week, and apparently I didn't post it. But here it is.
We're still investigating both the cause of the power out and the mutants behind the week-long coma. We have a fairly general idea in regards to the former, and while we can't do anything about it at this point in time, we will as soon as it's possible.
In regards to the latter, we have one of the culprits in custody and a fair idea of who at least one of the others are. We'll be doing what we can to make sure they don't try anything like this again. We'll also be increasing our psychic security to ensure something like this doesn't happen again.
For those of you unaware, we all owe a deep debt of gratitude to Jean-Paul, Stephen, Madeline and Vanessa for the work they did in keeping us alive and waking us up during that week. I have thanked them personally, but I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them on behalf of everyone who was caught up in the dream.
To wrap up this post on a lighter note - we will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel, as usual. If you'd like to help out with anything, please sign up here! And, as always, everyone is welcome, and we will make arrangements to transport anyone in the public eye.

Since apparently this does need to be said - there will be no retaliation against Sublime or the Church of Enlightenment, or at least none that will be condoned by myself. If you choose you do something like that, we will not protect you and we will not rescue you.
There is very little chance that Sublime will not be found guilty and sent to jail. We will be increasing security around the hotel and providing extra security for people when they are out if they choose to accept it. |
